Instagram is fairly new to me but I dove in head first and joined a mugrug swap organized by one of my contacts in Germany. This is the mugrug that I made for my swap partner, who also happens to be from Germany. The pattern was designed by Alexa Abegg, if you are interested, you can download it for free from here.
The reverse benefit from making a swap project is that you get to receive one as well! This is the one that my swap partner made for me; pretty nice I think.

In addition, and much to my surprise, my partner also sent along this fantastic pile of swag to go with my mugrug. How spoiled am I?
If you've ever considered joining a swap, I highly recommend it. It was a lot of fun making new, virtual friends, with whom I have much in common, despite them living far, far away!

Hi Barbara, your mug rug is gorgeous! And the one you received is stunning as well! I think you two were an excellent fit for each other. And all of those extra goodies, too? What a great late Christmas present. : ) Hugs, Karen
Both those mug rugs are excellent! I need to check out that pattern!
