My Positive Thoughts Table Runner is featured in the Modern Patchwork Spring 2015 issue and I am thrilled! I love this publication and I'm honored to have my pattern included within it.
Nestled among a number of great projects provided by some of my favorite quilters, a full page photo, comprehensive instructions and supporting graphics are provided for my table runner so that you can make one of your own.
The table runner, which can double as a wall hanging, measures 15'' x 75'' and is strip cut and machine pieced and quilted. Five colorful "plus" blocks are included on the front while the back is a bit more subdued with three simple accent stripes. Either side can be used.
I like the "banner" appearance of the runner when it is hung it vertically. It makes a nice addition to my porch.
I used a white, high sheen quilting thread in an overall grid pattern. All of the quilting was done on my domestic machine. A few more close ups follow that show more of the quilting detail.
If you'd like to make your own Positive Thoughts table runner, be sure to pick up a copy of Modern Patchwork's Spring 2015 issue to get the pattern. This issue has 27 great projects to make and a number of interesting articles that shouldn't be missed.
If you would like to by this quilted table runner, it is for sale in my shop at Modern Quilting by B. Please stop by for a peek!
