While we were all together for the Thanksgiving holiday, each of our family members drew a name for a Christmas gift exchange. I pulled my eldest sister's name from the bunch and have just the right thing for her already in the works. I've been having some more fun with my Accuquilt Go Baby. This time, I worked with the hexagon and equilateral triangle dies and speed cut my way through some cute Christmas stash and Bella white yardage. The stash has a 50's feel to it, an era much appreciated by elder sister. I predict much chain piecing in my future and had better get to work as there is just one month to get this pulled together and there are many other things that need to be done.
I'm not sure of the quilt size that these pieces will yield but I believe that there is enough here for a reasonably sized lap quilt. I do have ample backing fabric so if I need to borrow some for borders to make the top a bit bigger, I'll be able to do so. I'll keep you posted on my progress!
