Plain Spoken Scrap Table Runner

My Plain Spoken quilt is still in the works as I just had to take a detour today to use the juicy scraps that remained after cutting.  Too small to make something large, too large to pitch.  Sounds like the perfect opportunity to make a table runner.

I had a lovely half yard piece of Australian cotton with no purpose in mind and I was stymied at how well it coordinated with the Kona Solids that I selected for my other project.  Every inch it was used for the binding and the backing.  Good bye Australian stash, hello table runner.

I did my usual overall stipple pattern on the long arm using a light minty green thread.  End of detour, back to Plain Spoken.
