Another friend was expecting and another gender neutral baby quilt was in order. Hope Valley unquestionably fit the bill. I had, a still have, a good amount of Hope Valley remaining from a fat quarter stack I purchased a while ago and again put it to good use in anticipation of this new bundle of joy. Using a Moda Bella Solids jelly roll, strip piecing and sashing was a breeze.
Again, I machine quilted an overall stipple pattern on my long arm; I believe I have finally mastered that beast and now feel completely confident about my future with the machine. Two days after gifting, a little boy arrived, I trust he will enjoy his new quilt.
